Silkygirl Blockbuster Colour Palette (eyeshadow quad in Simply Pastel) sale
Hello everyone,
I'll be selling the Silkygirl Blockbuster Colour Palette in Simply Pastel for only $6. It is an eyeshadow quad. Details about it is listed below. This is an extract from my beauty blog, dearbeautydiary2.blogspot.
The other palette I got is named Simply Pastel, and lives true to its name. The palette includes a grey-white shade, a bright tiffany blue shade, a warm but bright purple shade, and a bright pink shade. Please excuse me there, I am bad at describing colourful colours. >.< I am not a fan of colourful eye makeup, so I don't really know how to create a look with this palette. But the pink, purple and grey can definitely work together. The grey and blue will create a nice, soft look. :) Even though I am not a fan of colourful eye makeup, I still got this palette as it has 4 bright colours together, and can allow me to play with different looks. However, I never dared to wear it out, so Simply Pastel has been sitting in my drawer.
Silkygirl has updated its Blockbuster Colour Palettes, and Classic Chic is part of this new palette series. I have never tried the old ones, but these new ones are of superb quality. The pigments are super creamy and soft, and glide on easily. Blending and shading is a joy with these palettes too. They don't crease with time, nor do they apply dry and patchy. The colour does fade with time though. There is also no fragrance in these eyeshadows.
These eyeshadows don't last for a very long time. It lasts for around 4 hours, before the colour fades off a little. Touch-ups are required, but I don't mind, since the eyeshadow pigments are of such high quality.
I am pleasantly surprised that such good quality palettes can be sold for such a cheap price. I got both of them at a sale in Watsons. Classic Chic costs around $15 ($11.83 USD) originally, but I got it at around $12 ($9.46 USD). I got Simply Pastel in a jumbo set, so I'm not sure about the exact price, but I suspect it costs around the same as Classic Chic. These prices are already considered as very cheap in my country, as most drugstore products already cost $20 plus. Sigh, getting cosmetics in Asia is really expensive, unless your country is producing those products. An example is South Korea, where all the fantastic Korean brands are so cheap in their country, and expensive in ours.

Skin Food Emulsion sale

Dear Beauty Diary,
I am here with a review from Skin Food, a famous Korean cosmetics and skincare brand! I'm going to talk about their Fresh Apple line, which is targeted at people who have oily skin and large pores. Previously, i had no idea what an emulsion was, and there was no emulsion step in my skin care routine. After some reading up, I realised how important an emulsion was. Basically, after applying emulsion, it will lock in whatever other skincare products you place on your face. Cool right? ^_^
Many people think emulsion is not necessary, as they think that toner does the same thing. No, toner simply allows your skin to absorb the other products, however, toner does not guarantee to retain in these products.
Skin Food's emulsion from the Fresh Apple line is the most lightweight emulsion that Skin Food has ever produced. Best of all, this emulsion is water-based. I recommend people with oily skin to use water-based moisturizers and emulsions. They are not as rich or heavy as cream/milk based moisturizers/emulsions, which will clog up your pores. This means formation of pimples. :( Water-based moisturizers/emulsions are very dewy and light, thus providing moisture but does not clog up pores, due to the huge amount of water in them. ^_^ This emulsion gets absorbed into my skin really really quickly, so you can layer your other skincare products on once you finish applying it.
This emulsion also tightens your pores. Which is very good, since oily skin usually comes with large pores. The salesgirl at the Skin Food outlet kept stressing to me how all the ingredients used are very organic, and I was so taken in by her and the wonderful Skin Food formula, I bought 2 of these bottles. Each bottle is actually 160ml, which is a lot, and can be used for a long time.
As for design, I must say that the bottle is so adorable. Its made of glass and is quite heavy. Hehe when I finish using up the bottle, I feel like washing it and using it as a water bottle. Take a look at the bottle for yourself!

Hehe let me demonstrate how i use eyedrops. Many people try to drop the drop into their eye, but they always end up missing their eye. I had this problem too, until i came up with a lame way of dropping, since i use eyedrops so often. :P First, i position the eyedrop bottle above me eye. I will stare at the bottle to make sure it is positioned correctly. Then i look away and press the bottle at the same time. So the drop will fall into my eye. And this is not as scary as looking at the drop fall into your eye. When one is scared, one is more likely to drop the drop out of the eye. Hope this helps! :)

DIY: Message in a Bottle
Hello everyone, this is my first DIY project! :D Its called Message in a Bottle, but its no ordinary message. Take a look for yourselves! :)
Each bottle takes me about 45 minutes to make. >.< But its ok, i shall do it for you readers. ^_^ These are perfect gifts for your friends and family, as they are full of love, original and adorable! All the letters come in a cute cream colour. The surrounding fluid comes in a variety of colours, like baby pink, hot pink, light blue, light green and transparent (no colour). Nothing lasts forever and the letters have a shelf life too, so inside the fluid, the letters will last for about half a year to a year. Send your orders to me via email. You can order as many as you like! :) Prices start from $4.00. The prices of the bottles differ.
How to order (aka. what you write in your email)
1. State the bottle you prefer.
2. State the colour you want your fluid to be. Eg. baby pink, hot pink, light blue, light green or transparent (no colour). I can even do ombre, like top transparent, middle baby pink, bottom hot pink. ^_~ However, ombre is only applicable for the small or medium bottles, not the round ones.
3. Write out your message. Eg. "diva girl", "happy birthday mum", etc. Unfortunately, the letters do not include commas, full stops, apostrophes, inverted commas, etc. The letters only include capital alphabets and numbers. Each letter costs $0.15. And specify how you want your message to look like. Eg. all in the middle, "happy birthday" as first line and "Sophie" as second line.
Here's an example. I choose the round bottle, use light blue fluid, and the message is "sweetheart". The price will be $1.50 + 10($0.15) = $3.00. But since my effort costs money too, the price will be $4.00, which is the starting price. Another example: I choose the medium bottle, use transparent fluid, and the message is "happy birthday Cindy". The price will be $2.00 + 18($0.15) = $4.70.

4 Pink and White Tops
Hi welcome to this pink and white range! :D Haha don't know why i have so much pink and white clothes. I must have been into a super frenzy girly mood when i bought these. First up, the whites. Here, there's a V-neck white hoodie tee. :) It has a small pocket on the left. And some stripy design above the pocket. And of course, a hood. This shirt is casual, comfy, and feminine, with a little of that cool sporty look. ^_~ I got this from my friend's shop too, Arte Boutique. However, i cut away the label, as i don't like that itchy feeling labels give me. >.< Worn once and selling for $15.00. :)
Next is a really interesting tank top. The back and front look exactly the same. They both have that same square cut. And its actually folds of chiffon with a layer underneath, which makes this look quite high class. You can dress this top up or down. Never worn before, as i've not found the occasion to wear this. Selling at $16.00. :)
Now for the pinks~ First, i have this hot sakura pink shirt. Its like japanese mixed with victorian style, which is equal to a modern kawaii look. ^o^ Look at it, its just adorable. And its cotton, so it feels super comfy. All the scrunches in the photo is part of the design, this makes it look like a rippling, flowing material. However, it is a little body hugging, and i don't like body hugging stuff, that's why i'm letting it go. Or not i would definitely keep it. As you can tell, i've worn this top once. Selling for $12.00, hurry and grab it. :D
Next up is this super feminine looking cardigan! Its baby pink, which is such a dreamy and melty colour. ^_^ And the cut at the front makes it look so princess-y. Its totally long sleeved, which is super unique from many other half cardigans. I forgot where i got this from, and once again, i cut away the label. So sorry everyone. >.< I am hardly in an air conditioned place, thus i don't need this cardigan to keep me warm, so i'm letting it go. Heart aches a little... Anyway, worn once and selling it at $14.00! :D

Hair Curlers, Nail Polish, Lip Gloss, Phone and Wallet Pouches
Hi everyone, here's a collection that is totally new and has never been used! :) First up is some sponge hair curlers from Daiso. :) I bought them on impulse, but i realised that i actually have no need for them. However, someone else out there might be trying to find a cheap way of getting natural looking curls, so i'm putting this up for sale for $1.00. ^_^
Here i have this adorable looking aquamarine nail polish. Its 15ml, which i think is quite a lot for a bottle of nail polish. I got this from my friend's shop, Arte Boutique. Nowadays, many shops only sell tiny amounts, like 5ml of nail polish. >.< This one will last you for a long time. Better still, this is such a unique shade of colour. ^_^ Its has a little shine and reflecting gloss in it, and the colour is just adorable. This can't really be seen from the photos, but just trust your instinct if you like the nail polish and buy it for $4.50. ^_~
Here's a chocolate coloured handphone pouch with dark chocolate hearts and cats all over it. <3 And it even comes with a free wrist-let. I got it because it was so cute, but then i don't really like handphone pouches... Again, i bought it on impulse. -_- Its from a random cute shop near my house. Selling it at $3.00! :D
Now here's an interesting lip gloss from Silkygirl. The packaging says its a Nude gloss. The colour doesn't look nude though. But the glitter power in this gloss is amazing! I just can't afford to keep this gloss, as i already have 2 others, and i don't wear makeup often at all (i just like buying them), so i'm afraid that this will expire and go to waste. Selling at $4.00. :D
Here's the last product of this post - a hilariously cute purse/ wallet/ handphone pouch! The expression on the face of the pouch is so funny. ^_^ And its from Minitoons~ Selling at $4.50. :)
